During PE this year, I have shown that I'm prepared and willing to participate by always bringing my gym strip and being on time for class. I often put in my best effort on fitness days because I want to improve my fitness level. Also, most of the fitness activities include running and I personally enjoy running. However, I think that I mainly struggle on days where we have to play a sport because I'm not very good at (most of the) sports that we play. I contribute to the overall success of the class by trying to participate and trying to learn how to play new games/sports. My attitude towards P.E. is usually neutral. I don't mind trying new games or sports, even if I'm not that great at them. On fitness days, I tend to push my self as much as I can. I do this because I want to stay fit and improve my fitness as well. Not only that, but I would also like to be able to run and maintain a stable running pace for a long amount of time. Also, I want to be able to run for a long period of time without stopping. My favourite fitness activities would be the 25/30 minute run and the circuit. To me, leadership is being able to influence other through their own determination and willpower. I think the best leaders in our class are the ones who don't give up & work hard towards their goal(s), motivate others and have good communication skills. So far this year, I'm proud that my fitness level has improved by a lot since last year. Also, I'm starting to try to participate more and become more open minded about P.E. Lastly, before this year ends, I would like to increase my fitness level and become better at playing other sports.
I think that a B would best fit my progress so far this year.
Andrea - great post!
ReplyDeleteI am happy to hear that you are enjoying the fitness activities and that you are setting fitness goals and are seeing improvements. That is great, you should be proud. I also like your definition of a leader.
Keep up the good work.
